About training

User manuals

Our manuals are customized for each facility since the operation of the system and the components installed vary from facility to facility.

General staff training

This training is provided to all staff to give them an overview of how the system operates, to show them how pagers work, provide an understanding of what is displayed on the computer screen and how to reset alarms.

Advanced training for response staff

This training is provided to a smaller group of staff – especially for those who would be responsible to manage the resident database as residents move in and out, or to print various reports.

Advanced training for maintenance staff

This training is also made available at no cost.  It goes in greater detail regarding troubleshooting, identifying problems and how to resolve them.  It covers such things as identifying problems with relays, changing batteries and providing a greater understanding of the operation of the software.  The training is customized to train the maintenance staff so that they understand the various components and overall operations of the systems that they wish to maintain directly.
